Chloe Davis – 2015 Runner Up

Wow, The ultimate body transformation, exactly what it has been for me! I first heard of the programme a few years back when a few friends had completed it, I was amazed with their results and from then on I had wanted to do it. I would always keep looking at the photos of people and think “Man I have to do this” !! So I started the UBT journey on the 6.9.14 and this was the perfect time for me as the last year and a half had been a messy ride and I needed that big positive change in life, my body and fitness! Seeing my photos for the first time I was in complete shock I couldn’t even look at them for long I honestly didn’t think I looked that bad and that motivated me the most. Week one, was so fun and also sore, I was amazed though at how only in one week of clean eating and exercise I woke up less tired, my body was thanking me. Week two, I felt really good also had a weigh in and had lost 3.6kg which made me even more motivated. I took a photo of myself and I looked good compared to the first photos already. Had the “bring it on” attitude after that haha. Week three, I was a bridesmaid and I think this week was the hardest because of all the food and alcohol…… I caved in big time. Week four, I did feel tired, all the exercise kicking in lol. Still stayed positive, I guess my body was just getting used to the change. Week five, the halfway point and I felt fantastic, could actually run for so much longer waaay fitter. Took more photos of my progress and soooo happy!! Looked even better than my two week photos, couldn’t believe it …. Holy moly Week six, felt reeeal healthy and awesome, with my BOSS-as arm muscles already whoop whop hahaa. Started taking extra shred tablets this week which made me feel a little weird but was fine by the end of the week. Had an engagement party this week though and was a bit naughty on the food side of things. Week seven, had a weigh in, was uber happy with the results lost 3.5kg from the last weigh in, made me want to go hardout for the last few weeks… didn’t want it to end ☹. I did have a food battle and bad halloween food but it could have been worse…. And tried a “combat bar” bloody delicious !!! haha. Week eight, ate lots of quest bars smile emoticon and took some more photos …. And once again pretty happy with them! Comparing them to my very first photos I couldn’t believe it was me really. Made the week much better. Week nine, had weigh in and measurements, loss of 2.3kg.. pat on the back Chloe !! smile emoticon This week felt a bit nerve racking, scary and sad because I knew there was only one more week to go. Was very hungry too, worms maaaybe? Lol. Week ten, THE LAST WEEK so I went gym crazy haha end with a bang ae! For me though out the challenge filling out the journal had been awesome and I loved it. To be able to look back and see what food you have eaten and how much exercise you have actually done week by week. Makes you be more aware of what you put into your mouth really, you are what you eat for sure…. (Sooo I’m a Quest bar hahaha). The food preparation and planning at the start felt intense as I didn’t feel like I was doing it right and never done it before but week by week it became easy and like normal routine. It has taught me about food a lot, avoiding the bad food and mentally staying strong ‘moment on the lips is a life time on the hips’ smile emoticon . Even my family and friends have started to eat more healthy and exercise more from seeing my results in such a short amount of time, which is great and one of the things I wanted out of the challenge as well. So fun could change my career I think! Goes to show if you just BOSS out a positive mental attitude, push yourself, you can really achieve anything! Before I started the challenge I had never done the whole personal training thing and I was a little nervous the week before, not knowing what was in store for me, but it was fine everyone was really nice, don’t know what I was worrying about. The personal training was so fun and challenging at times but Dom was great, made me feel comfortable and has been a funny and motivational personal trainer…… thanks red bush, swiss ball farrrts haha tongue emoticon and thanks Jon for heating up all the Quest bars for me. Yummm yum!! . When it was time for my side by side before and after photos to go on Facebook I freaked out heaps unsure emoticon but once they did I was totally overwhelmed by everyone’s positive comments. I couldn’t stop looking at my transformation photos and it is a really good feeling knowing that you have inspired people. Your time and effort that you put in is well worth it, and your body is a result of it, it feels amazing… I feel amazing!! I have never been this fit, toned and happy about my body in my life and I am not stopping till I get them abs! haha. I am the happiest I’ve been in a long time, can’t express that enough and all thanks to this challenge. Competition or not, I feel like a winner thanks Ultimate Training Transformation Team!! You rocked… my fat off !
